The picturesque village of Trittenheim is situated in one of the most beautiful wine regions of Germany, directly on the Moselle River. On a total surface of more than 300 hectares world famous and fine vines are cultivated – names like “Trittenheimer Altärchen” or “Trittenheimer Apotheke” (Pharmacy) draw the attention of every wine connoisseur.
Founded on a Franconian settlement, Trittenheim was first mentioned in records in 893. Every year the Moselle peninsula, charmingly situated and climatically favoured, is holiday, hiking and wine destination for many culture and nature lovers.
