The market community Mondsee is a picture-perfect village situated between the warmest swimming lakes in the Salzkammergut region, Lake Mondsee and Lake Irrsee.

It was the film „The Sound of Music“ from the year 1965 that made this idyllic village known to a wide public. The wedding scene of this musical film with Julie Andrews was indeed shot in the basilica of Mondsee.

The breathtaking location of the lake with the same name, framed by spectacular mountains, makes it a magnet for people from all over the world and a destination for prestigious conferences, congresses, seminars and incentive events.

Mondsee was the ideal venue for us to stage a Dragon Festival for the family event of Siemens Consulting which hosted about 400 adults and children. This event taking reference to the local legends and traditions, was awarded with Austrian Event Award in Bronze. „Dragonheart“ also earned an excellent second place „Highly recommended by the Jury“ at the E.I.B.T.M. Awards in Geneva.
