Puglia is an insider tip for event planners. The emergent touristic region around the 5-star Hotel Borgo Egnazia (belongs to the group of “leading hotels of the world) offers excellent possibilities for high end events.

Therefrom our customers had the chance to convince themselves from October 09th – 11th 2014. On a three day inspection tour to Puglia we showed our clients why the Borgo Egnazia and its surroundings are predestinated for our “rent a village by xnet®” concept.

Our impressions of Borgo Egnazia. Personal report.
With Air Dolomiti we fligh from Airport Munich to Bari. During the 55 minutes bus transfer we enjoy the beautiful landscape. The first impression we get from Borgo Egnazia is stunning. It is devided into three parts: La Corte (main building with double rooms), Il Borgo (Village area with appartements) and Le Ville (villas with three bed rooms) and is constructed like a real village. On the way to our appartements at “Il Borgo” we pass the Piazza, olive trees and cactuses as far as the eye can reach. It seems to me like this hotel has always been there, but the ancient architecture is not even five years old (opened in 2010).

The next moring starts with a site inspection of the hotel. Elena Bruno (Executive Director of Sales & Communication) presents a multitude of different venues and places. The indoor and outdoor possibilites seem to be nearly unlimited. During our presentation of the “rent a village by xnet®” concept, we meet the event organizers. The team appears really competent, is full of ideas and has already identified themselves with our concept.

Wide choice of external venues.
During our stay we get to know various localities outside of Borgo Egnazia, which can be used for events of any kind. We cannot stop being astonished about the exclusive beach club in a private bay, the “Masseria” in the midst of olive groves, the graceful grotto or the typical Puglian “Osteria” – the number of venues is huge.

This is worth a visit.
At an afternoon’s excursion our guide Guiseppe shows us the picturesque “white town” Ostuni and the “Trulli-Village” Alberobello. The latter belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage and shortly we know why. On our way back to the Airport Bari we make some stopovers. We get a guided tour through the “Grotte di Castellana”. A really extraordinary and exclusive location for gala evenings. The last stopover is in the beautiful town Polignano, where you can also find a grotto for organizing events.

In a well-known “Gelateria” we enjoy a cup of coffee and say goodbeye to Puglia. But we are shure that we will return soon with a first event.

We would like to thank our sponsors from Air Dolomiti, Borgo Egnazia Resort and San Domenico Hotel Group for their support and our customers, who accompanied us during these three days. It was an unforgettable fam trip!

We are looking forward to a good cooperation!
